  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine apples, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Pour apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, butter, and oats.
  6. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.
  7. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple filling.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
