Ingredients

- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn and remove any unpopped kernels.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and red food coloring.
- Pour the syrup over the popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
- Spread the popcorn on a baking sheet and bake at 250°F (120°C) for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Let cool completely before serving.
