Description

A Burger Quesadilla is a creative and fun twist on two classic comfort foods. It combines the flavors of a juicy burger with the cheesy goodness of a quesadilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Diced Onion
  • 1/4 cup Pickles, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Lay out two tortillas. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on each tortilla.
  4. Top cheese with cooked ground beef.
  5. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the beef. Add diced onion and pickles.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the toppings.
  7. Place the other two tortillas on top.
  8. Cook quesadillas in the skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  9. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the ground beef mixture.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
  • Serve with your favorite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or avocado.
