- 1 pound salmon fillet, skin on or off
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, maple syrup, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Add the salmon cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
- Let the salmon cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- You can also use honey instead of maple syrup.
- Store leftover candied salmon in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
