Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
  2. Add shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked through.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes
