- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the pudding mix, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For softer cookies, slightly underbake them.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use different flavors of pudding mix to vary the taste.
