Description

Make decadent chocolate covered strawberries in just 30 minutes with this simple recipe, perfect for parties or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional: sprinkles, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut for decoration

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a heat-safe bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (or in the microwave in 30-second intervals), melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating about two-thirds of the berry.
  4. Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. If desired, immediately sprinkle with toppings.
  6. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere better.
  • For a thinner chocolate coating, add a bit more coconut oil.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
