Ingredients

  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine apples, cranberries, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  3. Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle crumb mixture over the fruit.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and fruit is tender.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
