- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- Crackers or baguette slices for serving
Instructions
- Combine cranberries, sugar, water, orange juice, and orange zest in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Stir in chopped nuts, if using.
- Serve with crackers or baguette slices.
Notes
- For a smoother dip, pulse the cooled cranberry mixture in a food processor until desired consistency is reached.
