- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown Italian sausage in a large pot. Drain excess grease.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened. Stir in oregano and red pepper flakes.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles. Reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
