Creamy Tuscan Shrimp Linguine is a rich and flavorful pasta dish.

- 1 pound linguine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, oil-packed, drained
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, basil, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring sauce to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preference.
- Use fresh or frozen shrimp.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and basil, if desired.
