- 4 boneless, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon yuzu koshō
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for 5-7 minutes, until skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Spread yuzu koshō over the crispy chicken skin before serving.
Notes
- Ensure chicken skin is very dry before searing for maximum crispiness.
