- 4 large round bread loaves (sourdough or Italian)
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut a circle around the top of each bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about 1/2 inch thick walls. Place bread bowls on a baking sheet.
- Pat chicken dry. Mix garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then rub evenly over the chicken.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove, rest 5 minutes, then slice.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add nutmeg if desired and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide sliced chicken evenly into each bread bowl. Pour hot Alfredo sauce over the chicken to fill generously.
- Bake filled bread bowls for 5–7 minutes until slightly crispy on the outside and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
