Description

Create a viral Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Bar at home. This recipe combines a creamy pistachio-tahini filling with crispy kataifi pastry, all encased in a rich chocolate shell.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup high-quality milk chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, shelled and unsalted
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange blossom water
  • 1 cup kataifi pastry, finely shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
  2. Spread a thin layer of melted chocolate into a silicone mold or parchment-lined dish. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  3. In a food processor, combine pistachios, tahini, powdered sugar, and orange blossom water. Blend until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, toss kataifi pastry with melted butter. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Spread the pistachio filling over the chocolate layer.
  6. Top with crispy kataifi pastry.
  7. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the kataifi.
  8. Freeze for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar.
  • Use good quality chocolate for best results.
