Description

Easy wonton casserole recipe for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 30 wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground pork over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in spinach, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer 10 wonton wrappers, followed by half of the meat mixture and 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat layers twice.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Add mushrooms or water chestnuts for extra texture.
  • Use ground turkey or chicken instead of pork.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
