Quick and easy pasta perfect for a simple and delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves.

  • Add protein such as grilled chicken or shrimp.
