Description

This Easy Pumpkin Dump Cake recipe is a simple and delicious dessert, perfect for fall gatherings. You can make it quickly with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 box (15.25 ounce) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Mix well.
  3. Pour pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts (if using) over the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
