Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Beat until well combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
- Place a candy eyeball on top of each brownie square.
