Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk and butter. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve garlic shrimp over dreamy mashed potatoes.
