Description

Simple and delicious glazed carrots.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place carrots in a saucepan.
  2. Add butter, brown sugar, water, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until carrots are tender and glazed.
  4. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes
