Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop a tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten slightly.
- Place a teaspoon of Nutella (or your chosen filling) in the center.
- Cover the filling with another tablespoon of dough, sealing the edges.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
