Description

This Korean-style ground turkey recipe is quick, easy, and flavorful. You can serve it over rice or in lettuce wraps.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground turkey over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, gochujang, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet.
  3. Stir well to combine. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  4. Stir in green onions.
  5. Serve hot over rice or in lettuce wraps. Garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of gochujang to your preferred level of spiciness.
