Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Brown ground beef and drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk.
- Layer potatoes, ground beef mixture, and soup mixture in a casserole dish.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder or paprika to the ground beef.
- You can use any type of cheese you like.
- If you don’t have cream of mushroom soup, you can use cream of chicken or celery soup.
