- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine cranberries, sugar, water, orange juice, orange zest, and cinnamon in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
