Ingredients

  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add celery and onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in sage, thyme, and pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, combine dried bread cubes, cooked vegetables, and parsley.
  6. Pour chicken broth over the bread mixture and toss to combine.
  7. Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
