- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
- While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and pasta water. Toss until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
