Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, oil-packed, drained
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  8. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes, until chicken is heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.

  • Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
