Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Unroll one pie crust and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Dot with butter pieces.
  7. Unroll the second pie crust and place it over the apple mixture.
  8. Trim and crimp the edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
