Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets of store-bought puff pastry
  • 1 cup of your favorite pie filling (apple, cherry, pumpkin, etc.)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of pie filling in the center of each rectangle.
  4. Cut thin strips of puff pastry to create the mummy’s bandages.
  5. Arrange the strips over the filling, leaving a small space for the eyes.
  6. Brush the mummy hand pies with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly and attach candy eyes with a dab of egg or icing.
