Description

Mummy jalapeño poppers are a fun and spooky appetizer. Enjoy these at your next Halloween party.


Ingredients

  • 6 jalapeños, halved and seeded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 12 small black olives, sliced
  • 1 package (8 count) crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bacon.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Unroll crescent roll dough and cut into thin strips.
  5. Wrap strips around each jalapeño to resemble mummy wrappings, leaving a space for the eyes.
  6. Place two olive slices on each popper for eyes.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
