Description

Enjoy warm, comforting Nutella baked oats. It’s a simple recipe perfect for a cozy breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Nutella
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the banana.
  3. Add oats, milk, egg, Nutella, baking powder, and salt to the bowl.
  4. Mix all ingredients until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into an oven-safe dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more or less Nutella.
  • Top with extra Nutella, fresh fruit, or nuts after baking.
  • For a vegan option, replace the egg with a flax egg (1 tbsp flaxseed meal mixed with 3 tbsp water).
