Description

This pea salad is a simple and flavorful side dish, perfect for gatherings and holidays. It combines sweet peas with a creamy dressing and crisp mix-ins.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the thawed peas, red onion, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled.

Notes
