Description

Enjoy delicious peach pie cruffins. This recipe combines the flakiness of a croissant with the sweetness of peach pie.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated croissant dough
  • 2 cups peeled and diced fresh peaches
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, combine peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
  3. Unroll croissant dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon peach mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point.
  6. Brush each cruffin with melted butter.
  7. Place cruffins in the prepared muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Use canned peaches if fresh peaches are not available. Drain well before using.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg to the peach mixture for extra flavor.
  • Store leftover cruffins in an airtight container at room temperature.
