- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes. Let cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, eggs, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Arrange toasted pecans in the bottom of the pie crust.
