Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Topping: 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and pecans. Mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle topping evenly over sweet potato mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and casserole is set.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
