- 4 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine pecan halves, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle pecan mixture evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and casserole is heated through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
