Ingredients

  • 1 pound loaf of bread, cubed and dried
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add celery and onion and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in sage, thyme, and pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes and sautéed vegetables.
